Help please ! About electrical Engineering?
shama asked:
hello!
i need the help of electrical engineers! i have to choose a major by the end of this week & i’m sooooo confused between chemical & electrical engineering! i read the course descriptions of each major and i’m liking electrical a lot except that involves lots of computer stuff! lots of courses seem very technical.. the physics related courses i find VERY interesting! they’re what made me think about choosing this major in the first place! I’m not so sure i like thermodynamics a lot & that’s why I’m not so sure about chemical engineering..
+ i really want to know what electrical engineers can do after graduation ( other than computer stuff..what else is there? )

Electricals do alot.
From circuits in toys, to radio communications, to antennas, to Power Systems like power plants and transmission lines, patent law, computer hardware, Digital Signal Processing, speakers, TV’s, we got it all.
do both at the same time
Electric utilites are seeing a lot of their engineers begin to retire and there aren’t young people interested in power engineering. This is a good opportunity for you, I think.
Personally I only took a bare minimum of programming while getting my electrical engineering degree. I loved the lab courses!
