    The courses vary from one college to another. But any Math is good for this. And a foreign language will help, too, since most universities require that.

    If your high school provides concurrent classes take as many as you can. Some students can earn up to 30 hours of college credit hours before even stepping into their first college course. You should take english, math, history, and political science concurrent if your H.S. provides it. These are mandatory for all freshmen regardless of major.

    Most Colleges or Universities have these courses:

    Calculus I, II, III or AP Calculus
    Solid Mathematics skills including subjects such as Geometry, AP Geometry and College Algebra
    Technical Physics, Physics or AP Physics
    Chemistry or any other basic science or AP
    Knowledge of computer programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Visual Basic Studio. Net
    Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Unix, Linux, Solaris, and Windows
    Computer Ethics
    Computer Networks
    Digital Circuits
    Systems Analysis and Design

    Certification is a plus especially if you going into computer engineering!!!

    AP counts as college credits for certain classes you take in high school.
